I urge you to pass this ordinance, or one more direct and stringent, in order to rid the city of
the blight of urban camping as well as the potential danger to public health and safety thatmany of these campers present.
I think those urging a more "compassionate" approach are deluding themselves as to who issquatting on our public land and why.
