I’ve lived in Bozeman for a long time. I was born here. The large homeless encampments are a new symptom of
something much deeper. I am in full opposition of the sweeping of the homeless population. Displacing already
displaced people will not solve it. The encampments are a symptom of the housing crisis caused by the
encroachment of out of state investors. There have been viable solutions presented these past months targeted at
making housing affordable.
