There is a solution to urban encampment. It is not short and easy. It is to house people. This is how we will create
safety and livability in Bozeman. Asking people to move every 5 days is draconian. Levying fines of $100 is
counterproductive and cruel. Focus on making camps clean and safe for now. Provide sanitation and social services
assistance. We will not police our way out of homelessness.
