When the Community Development Board meets on September 18th I would like them to
consider my thoughts on the new proposed UDC which will shape Bozeman for manydecades. Combining R-1,R-2 and R-3 into a new R-A zoning district is a big jump and will not
serve this community well. This change in the neighborhoods is being touted in the name ofaffordable housing and increased density. To move from single/familyADU'S and single
familyADU'S/duplexes to an 8 Unit building,10,000 SqFT. 3 stories high is too radical andwill have a very negative effect on our our lovely, well established neighborhoods.
Landscaping will be destroyed as will be yards to bulldoze current yards for huge parking lotsfor the highrise buildings. The beautiful views will be destroyed by the high rises and there
will be more traffic congestion and parking issues. Please reconsider the proposed changes andslow down and really consider what these changes will mean in the future for our families,
children and grandchildren. Thank you for considering my feedback on this issue. I really careabout the future of my beautiful Bozeman where I have resided for 45 years. Sincerely,
