Dear Commission,
I have recently learned of the efforts to rezone single family housing in the City of Bozeman,
and feel the need to voice my opposition to this. As a citizen that has paid my property taxesand done my part to contribute/maintain the Bozeman that I grew up in, I strongly disagree
with the effort to rezone single family housing and make it accessible to the out of statedevelopers who want come into my neighborhood and make an extra penny. As someone who
is involved civil construction, I understand that codes/specs need to be updated as newsituations arise, however this specific part of the code update needs to be addressed with
diligence, not broad strokes. If we want to maintain the Bozeman that some of us actuallycame from, we cannot let the city be influenced by out of town money.
