I understand The City of Bozeman will be voting on ordinance 2147 this coming Tuesday,
September 19th which would require that campers move every five days to a differentlocation. The ordinance would also forbid camping adjacent to residences, schools and
daycares. I live at Sundance at Baxter Meadows Apartments on Galloway Street and Iunderstand the ordinance could potentially help remove the campers from Kimberwicke,
Vaquero, Galloway and Caspian. I am urging the city to please pass this ordinance. The noisepollution from the generators running 24/7 is unbearable and the trash and all kinds of junk
surrounding the vehicles is out of control and hazardous to the environment. We have a lot ofpeople who are not homeless taking advantage of free parking and not having to pay a dime to
live on our streets. These people have roofs over their heads and are basically just hanging out.I feel very unsafe and am upset that this problem is continually getting worse each passing
day.
I wrote to you previously via email on August 8th when this ordinance was on your agendabut it was not discussed because it was "late". We cannot delay this problem any longer and I
am urging the city council to please pass this ordinance once and for all.
