To whom it may concern;
I find your plan to eliminate single family zoning very disturbing. We purposely bought property in a neighborhood
that only allows single family homes as we wanted to live in a lower density area. Now we are expected to accept
the changes even though it could potentially lower the value of our property as well as disrupt the way we have
planned to live out our retirement? This seems very unfair to current home owners and most likely will not make
housing more affordable. I would propose having two zones; single family and multi family with clear boundaries
and fewer restrictions. I would also suggest you at least start with some of the proposed ideas such as; putting limits
on short term rentals or taxing then at a high enough rate to help subsidize housing.
I would plead with you to not adopt this new “no zone” idea.
