The City of Bozeman received the following questions regarding the request for
qualifications for architectural, engineering, land surveying and land use planning
professional services to support the Economic Development Department and the
Downtown Business Partnership, LLC.
Question: Can case study examples and principals cited be used multiple times? (i.e.,
must there be unique principals or case studies for each category?)
Answer: Case study examples and principals can be used multiple times.
Question: Does the Broadband Deployment scope of work include networking or other
user-related services, or is it related to the design of buried cable infrastructure?
Answer: It relates to the engineering and deployment fiber conduit based on the
existing open access network.
Question: Does this scope of work include any construction management?
Answer: Yes.
Question: Can the chosen firm perform consulting services for developers under
separate contracts within the TIF districts, or would this be considered a conflict of
interest?
Answer: The chosen firm may perform consulting services for developers within the
district regardless of if they are receiving any TIF funding or will apply for TIF funding.
Question: If our team were to include a table of contents page as part of our proposal,
could this be considered a cover sheet and therefore be exempted from the page limit?
Additionally, is the required form “Attachment A, Nondiscrimination and Equal Pay
Affirmation” exempted from the page limit?
Answer: All pages that are organizational or forms such as the pay affirmation are not
included in the count. Pages with substantial information related to your submission are
included in the count. Please remember the submission must adhere to the 25MB size
limit including all organizational pages.
