Hello,
We here on West Hemlock Street fully support the proposed ordinance on urban camping in
Bozeman.
We look forward to seeing this ordinance enacted and enforced.
Thank you!

We had another assault in front of our office yesterday and had to call 911. We are alsocontinuing to see vandalism and theft from our property. Is the city planning on
addressing the situation or are the local businesses/residents going to continue toshoulder the problem?
We have had to continue to spend time and money to deal with problems and secure ourproperty. We cannot use our property as we intended. We have to keep our doors locked
during business hours. Anything we try to do outdoors here puts our employees in harm'sway and we are worried about them getting to and from their vehicles. If it is not bolted
down or locked up apparently it is fair game for the unwelcome residents to use or take.
I hope you are losing sleep over this because you will be to blame when something worsehappens here due to your inaction.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have not seen any follow up from the city commission on how the urbancaming situation is going to be handled and if laws will be adjusted to empower the police
force to act to help bozeman residents. People continue to show up to live on the streetsand it is only a matter of time until this starts to affect more residential neighborhoods.
I understand there is a clean up effort in the works to try and provide some temporary
relief in what we deal with daily and that is very much appreciated! This will help but wealso need a long term solution to help people in need without relying on existing residents
and businesses to be the front line. The clean up efforts are needed to get the streets backinto working order but it will also only chase people around and they will likely return or
more people will show up if we don't find viable locations for people to park or live.
We would really like to see some law adjustments or longer term solutions put in place tohelp keep our city to the standards that we all love.
Thank You!
Joe
