Dear Bozeman,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a pressing issue that has been garnering
increasing attention within our community: urban camping. As our city continues to grow and evolve, it's important
for us to collectively address this matter and find effective solutions.
Urban camping presents challenges that impact the safety, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere of our urban spaces.
After a four hour meeting last month I noticed that time ran out and the lost of putting together and ordinance of
“ The ordinance would also restrict urban campers from staying adjacent to or across from homes, parks, schools,
and daycares, as well as staying within 100 feet from a public entrance of a business or nonprofit”
Was not addressed. I see this as a viable solution for Bozeman as I worry Bozeman is slowly turning into Portland
Oregon and would hate to see this happen to such a wonderful town. Please in September 19th consider this and put
into action.
