Regarding the proposed brewery application:
I can't think of a worse corner to place a brew pub: this location is within walking distance for
curious middle school students on a very busy road. This small plot of land will literally backup to multiple houses, providing noise all day and late into the evening. I think it's safe to
assume it will significantly impact the resale prices of those adjacent homes.
Perhaps most importantly, MAP Brewing has historically had one of the worst parkingproblems in Gallatin County. There is no way a 1.3 acre lot will provide enough parking for
the easily predictable masses who would likely frequent thisbar. I like MAP, but this location is a terrible idea.
I live 3 miles south of the corner of South Third Avenue and LIttle Horse Drive. I drive or
ride my bike past that intersection multiple times per week. Cars speed 45-50 miles per hourin both directions on adjacent Goldenstein Drive, and there have been multiple frightening
times over the years when I thought a speeding driver would ram into me as I signal and waitto make the turn onto South Third.
Please reconsider this application for a brewpub in the center of a lovely, quiet neighborhood.
