Good morning,
As you may or may not know, we have a huge event happening here at Kenyon Noble Lumber Co.
tomorrow and Saturday, August 25th and 26th. We are expecting several thousand people on our
property, and parking on the streets that surround our property, over the course of these two days.
We are quite concerned given the situation with the Urban Campers that you, the city towed and
put here on N 11th Avenue back in March.
We have had non-stop problems with these people, including a very frightening one this morning
involving myself. 911 had to be called as I was being chased down the street by two of these street
dwellers. If it weren’t for my boss driving up the road at that time, I don’t know what would have
happened to me. This situation is becoming increasingly more dangerous, it is just a matter of time
until something major happens.
With our event this weekend, and given the issues we have with the Urban Campers, we are asking
for increased patrols this weekend, not only to keep our employees that are working this event, but
our guests and the general public.
