I suspect that in drafting the proposed ordinance to force homeless people to constantly move,
the impact on any children was not considered.
Leaving aside the effects it would have on their sleep schedule and school performance, thismeasure would make the job of Child Protective Services case workers even more difficult.
Families in need of assistance in those areas are hard enough to track without the city
compelling them to relocate every week.
