Montana Board of Crime Control Funding Opportunity Dear Subscriber, MBCC is seeking applicants for the Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (Byrne SCIP) - Local Pass Through (Less than $10,000 Jurisdictions) funding opportunity. Please ensure that you are eligible to apply under this funding opportunity. Non-profit organizations are NOT eligible to apply under this funding opportunity. Eligible applicants limited to less than $10,000 jurisdictions within the state, and state and local courts that provide criminal justice and civil justice services to one or more of the less than $10,000 jurisdictions within the state. All funds must be utilized to support state and local courts that provide criminal justice and civil justice services to one or more of the less than $10,000 jurisdictions within the state. The purpose of this funding is to prevent or reduce crime and violence, with a particular focus on gun violence and programs and initiatives that target the risk factors that are likely to lead to this kind of violence. Priorities under this funding opportunity include: 1. Treatment court acceptance and addressing of violent offenders while helping mitigate gun violence programs. 2. Treatment court acceptance and addressing domestic violence victims ending up in court due to committing crimes programs. Approximately $167,107 will be available during the project period.
