This is a written testimony pertaining to the NOTICE OF REVENUE INCREASE FROM PROPERTY TAXES
To the City Commissioners,
On Tuesday, August 22, 2023; you will decide on the number of mills to levy upon city residential
properties. I would ask of you the following: If you must increase the mill levies over last year, then
please do it in a minimal way. The reason I ask you this is because of our increase in property tax
becoming a financial burden and then we have a City Assessment that increases too. It is becoming
more difficult to afford to live here and both my wife and I have worked and lived here for over 25
years.
