Hey Kellen-
Thanks for the response on this. I get that, but from my experience in the field is that those issues
are still going to happen regardless the type of pipe, because usually it is NWE that is digging through
spots and not repairing them accurately. Just a thought, I think the profile pipe should still be
considered once the cost is brought into the picture.

We have had some failures with profile wall pipe in the past and we believe that solid wall PVC is a better product.

Why again are HP Storm & A-2000 being removed? This is only going to further raise the cost of
construction on City projects...

PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Bozeman Engineering Office announces a proposed addendum to approved modifications to the
Montana Public Works Standard Specifications and a proposed addendum to the Design Standards and
Specifications Policy. The addendum may be viewed at the City of Bozeman’s web site at the City’s website
under departments; engineering; Design Standards and Specifications. The addendums are entitled:
“Addendum No. 4 to City of Bozeman Modifications to Montana Public Works Standard Specifications, 6th
Edition” and “Addendum No. 8 to the Design Standards and Specifications Policy.” These documents are
also available for viewing at the City Engineering Office, 20 E. Olive Street, Bozeman,
Montana. Comments concerning these proposed standards and specifications will be received until August
11, 2023. Comments should be submitted to: City Engineer, City of Bozeman, 20 E. Olive Street, P.O. Box
1230, Bozeman, MT 59771-1230, or by email to: kgamradt@bozeman.net.
