What is the point of public comment when the commissioners and mayor do not heed the data presented anddon't even acknowledge data presented from the city itself? Why bother going through this charade whenthey will just decide to do whatever they want regardless?

NOTICE OF REVENUE INCREASE FROM PROPERTYTAXES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Bozeman will hold a publichearing on a resolution to establish and affix mill levies for fiscal year 2023-2024 (FY24).
All concerned persons are invited to attend a public hearing on adopting the levy which will be held at6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in the City Commission Room, 121 N Rouse Avenue, Bozeman,Montana. Copies of Resolution No. 5500 can be obtained from the City Clerk, 121 N. Rouse Avenue. Written testimony may be made prior to or during the public hearing. Written testimony can be submittedto the City Clerk, agenda@bozeman.net, PO Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59771. A final decision onlevying the number of mills levied is expected to be made after public comment is taken that night.
