Hi City Commissioners,
Please submit this email to the 08/08/2023 meeting public comment.
I don’t see any language in the ordinance that outlines how the city will distinguish “involuntary
homeless” from tourists. How will a city employee with authority to enforce this article distinguish
the two? Where is the language that outlines what the city will do about tourist camping?
Also, where does the five day camping period come from? Why not 72 hours, which aligns with city
parking violations?
