I’m writing in opposition to further restrictions on short-term rentals in Bozeman. I own and operate an STR. Despite
the rhetoric of those trying to ban STR’s, my guests are not only “wealthy vacationers” but primarily friends of locals
and tourists who can’t afford $500 per night short-term rental hotel rooms. If these are the people we want to price
out and the Marriot shareholders are who we want tourist dollars flowing to, then we should have an honest
conversation about that.
