My main concern is where do they go? Yes most of them are eyesores, but without providing a more permanent
solution, it is treating the symptom, without "curing" the problem. Perhaps requiring a permit might "encourage"
them to find other places to park. And for that matter, requiring construction trailers, boat trailers, and unoccupied
campers parked on city streets to have a parking permit might also be in order.
