Dear City Commissioners,
I'm writing to you to express my support of adopting Ordinance 2147 regarding camping on
city right of ways.
Housing and homelessness are important issues and I understand that many individuals feelthey have no other options but to urban camp. However, it is essential we prioritize safety and
well being for all citizens and businesses of our wonderful community. Allowing urbancamping to continue to expand unabated is unacceptable.
I encourage you to seek additional measures to address housing costs and availability, and
mental health resources for those in our community who are struggling, but please also adoptordinance 2147.
