I am writing about the short term rental discussion. During the past couple of days, I had a
quick look at AirB&B's web site for Bozeman listings, and am shocked at the number ofplaces available. New condo buildings here in town, such as SOBO, Cannery District, and the
new units on Cottonwood all have several "luxury" short term rentals in them, so we aregiving up farmland and beautiful open spaces for these high-end, short term rentals, while
people live on the streets here and camp in our parks. Something big needs to be done beforethe Bozeman we love is lost forever.
Please put an end to these short-term rentals owned by investors and focus on the needs of the
people who live here.
