Hi there,
I wanted to offer my input as a Bozeman resident about the many campers we're seeing around town. Like manypeople, I recognize that the reality is we don't have enough affordable housing here so, some people are doing their very
best and certainly aren't guilty of "glamping". My wish, first and foremost, is that we could work harder as a community
to be inclusive and take more of a long-view. I also recognize that money talks. It's a tough situation.
More to the point, for the upcoming meeting Tuesday, about campers. I don't like seeing campers and people camping
all around town. I also don't like that my HOA dictates that I can't keep my winnebago on site as I own my home.
Thank you for the work you do on behalf of us all!

We have recently learned that the City Commissioners will be voting on an ordinance on August 8th
which would forbid camping adjacent to residences, schools and daycares. Another part of this ordinance
under consideration would be requiring that vehicles be moved every five days. One or all parts of this
ordinance could potentially pass.
As you may know, the vote of the City Commissioners will have a large impact on the neighborhood and
Bozeman as a whole.
We encourage you to voice your thoughts to the City Commissioners prior to this meeting taking place on
Tuesday. You can do so by emailing at agenda@bozeman.net or by using the contact form on this page:

This is an important subject for Bozeman and we think our City Commissioners should know how you feel
