I support the ordinance to restrict urban camping, however, the narrow scope is likely to result in more shifting of
locations than a reduction in camping itself. I would prefer to see an ordinance banning the camping combined with
increased investment in more effective efforts such as the Housing First Village and similar projects that help those
in need better assimilate and get back on their feet.
