Hello,
I would like to express my approval of the proposed ordinance regarding the moving
of vehicles every 5 days and restricting them from parking in front of, our adjacent to
residences and the proximity guidelines to business, schools, and daycares. I also
strongly support language regarding keeping personal belongings inside the
structures when not in use and requiring the maintenance of trash.
Homelessness continues to be a significant issue in Bozeman, and certainly will be a
topic of discussion for years to come. My family contributes significantly to HRDC
and their programs at Fork and Spoon, Warming Center and the food bank. We doso as we realize people often need a hand. We do not see regulation as a way to
push struggling people further down, but it is time our city reclaims our streets and
have standards and expectations of what our unhoused population can do in our
public properties and rights of way.

As a side, regarding your fellow commissioner I-Ho, she is truly an American. Shehas given so much to our community, and the world. I wish her well.
