Hello Takami,
I'm reaching out to you in regard to the city commission vote for Urban Campers on August 8th.
Since my girlfriend and I have moved to the Sundance Appartments, we have witnessed alarming
activity on Kimberwicke, Vaquero, Galloway and Caspian. We witnessed a police raid on a bus that
"Urban Campers" where living in that was parked next our appartment, in the spring. We have also
witnessed littering, disturbing activity at night, "Urban campers" trying to plug electronics into the
building, and pop up tents, filled with people and their pets. They are also using our dumpster at
night, a service WE pay for in our rent. It's alarming to me that the city is allowing this to happen,
next to so many schools in the area, and family residences. Does the city know where these people
are defecating? Does the city have other contingency plans in place? In case this vote does not pass?
As a working individual and contributing member of this community, I can feel safe speaking for a
majority of people and saying that the city needs to address these issue before they become worse.
Have the city commissioners take a drive behind the Town Pump on 19th, we a witnessed domestic
assault occur a month ago next to all those Campers. We did call the police.
I would like you to acknowledge this email, and forward it to the commisoners involved in this vote
on August 8th. My property manager Eva, is also CC'd on this email.
