As a retired homeowner in “old Bozeman”, I want to plead that you turn down
the ridiculously expensive recreational center. We existing homeowners have
paid for new schools, new public safety buildings, new streets and new
firehouses. Is there ever enough in your focused efforts to support developers
and endless growth? Considering the cost of the proposed center, it appears
the answer is “no” and that there is no concern for those of us increasingly
burdened with the resulting taxes.
I’d also note your unending talk about affordable housing yet your actions, by
increasing taxes, makes housing less and less affordable.
