Dear Commissioners,
I own a home in Harvest Creek Subdivision on Oliver Street. Beginning last year, I noticed Northern
Bobwhite Quail throughout our neighborhood, raising their young, and utilizing the green space betweenOak and Durston (proposed site for Fowler connection).
According to this website, this bird is endangered. I understand with Bozeman growing, we need to be able
to prevent bottlenecking of traffic. However, I am concerned about getting rid of this vital green space not
only for humans, but animals such as this species of quail.
Attached is a short video of a male Northern Bobwhite quail, right outside my front door, backing up to the
green space, earlier today.
Is there not another way to manage traffic flow?
