As the victim of an individual who was going approximately 65 mph through the Oak and 19th intersection, I would
like to respectfully comment on the, what I believe to be, non-solution being proposed to lower speed limits. The
solution is enforcement, in my opinion. I would propose increased funding to the police department to: a) raise
wages to attract, and fill the shortage of officers; and b) install speed sensor/display units such as is just East of
Durston and 7th.
