Dear Mayor and Commissioners, I am writing to request your urgent attention and approval for an allocation of $400,000 to be used toward the purchase of the Montana Bible College Campus, to serve the clients in need of emergency, transitional and workforce housing for Family Promise of Gallatin Valley (FPGV). As you may know, FPGV is a nonprofit organization that helps families with children facing homelessness in our community. The organization helps local communities coordinate and address family homelessness using a holistic approach that provides prevention services, shelter and case management, and stabilization programs. The Montana Bible College Campus presents an incredible opportunity for FPGV to expand its services and better serve the community. This facility will offer much needed emergency shelter and establish a transitional and workforce housing program to provide affordable housing and other services to the clients in need. On behalf of Family Promise of Gallatin Valley, I urge you to approve this allocation and help us make a significant difference in the lives of those who are most vulnerable in our community. Thank you for considering our request and for your continued support for FPGV.
