Commissioners:
I am writing to request your ardent support for the $400,000.00 funding request made by Family Promise under the
Community Project Grant awards that the Commission will consider on July 11th. The requested funding is
instrumental to providing 19 apartments for transitional, emergency, and workforce housing for families struggling
to make it in Bozeman. Bozeman's housing crisis continues to escalate for low income families and these 19 units
would be in direct support of Bozeman Strategic Plan Goal 4.5:
Housing and Transportation Choices - Vigorously encourage, through a wide variety of actions, the development
of sustainable and lasting housing options for underserved individuals and families and improve mobility options
that accommodate all travel modes.
