Dear Trans Board and Commission and Staff
As an advocate for safety I whole heartedly support consistent speed limits. All you state in
the agenda is that arterials will be set at 35 and collectors at 30mph. I’m worried that peoplewill not really see much a difference between the two speed limits and just travel 35mph at all
times – especially with enforcement missing most of the year.
I would love to comment on the ordinance and eagerly looked forward to reading it. Myinternet was out due to the train wreck until now. But there is no ordinance 2142 attached to
the agenda. Disappointing and possibly against public engagement rules.
