There will also be time in conjunction with each agenda item for public comment relating to that item but you may only speak once per topic. BACKGROUND:The Historic Preservation Advisory Board will debrief Historic Preservation Month which occurred in May. BACKGROUND:HPAB will discuss the Fred Willson Multiple Property Documentation project. This will include arranging times to visit the MSU archives and having a discussion with Richard Brown. UNRESOLVED ISSUES:None ALTERNATIVES:None FISCAL EFFECTS:None Report compiled on: June 14, 2023 4 Memorandum REPORT TO:Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board FROM:Sarah Rosenberg SUBJECT:Identify Bozeman's Historic Resources MEETING DATE:June 21, 2023 AGENDA ITEM TYPE:Citizen Advisory Board/Commission RECOMMENDATION:None STRATEGIC PLAN:1.2 Community Engagement: Broaden and deepen engagement of the community in city government, innovating methods for inviting input from the community and stakeholders. BACKGROUND:As part of the HPAB Work Plan, the board has identified starting a program that aims to call attention to Bozeman's historic resources. Whether this is identifying endangered places or what is considered an important historic resource, HPAB will begin discussion on what this program will look like. Some examples of other programs include: National Trust for Historic Preservation Endangered Historic Places Missouri's Historic Places in Peril Colorado's Most Endangered Places La Crosse, Wisconsin UNRESOLVED ISSUES:None ALTERNATIVES:None FISCAL EFFECTS:None Report compiled on: June 14, 2023 5
