To whom it may concern,
I would like to bring attention to this issue due to it affecting the sleep and enjoyment in my
home of me and my partner, along with the multiple other families that live in the area.
I live on the corner of Kimberwick Street and Caspian Drive at the Baxter MeadowsApartments. There are multiple motor homes and camper trailers parked on Kimberwick street
and Galloway street. These motor homes/ camper trailers are an eye sore that take away thebeauty of the city and our surrounding area. Also I have found it hard to sleep most nights due
to the constant humming of gasoline powered generators running 24 hours a day, 7 days aweek.
I have tried talking to the residents of these “homes” to find a resolution to the noise. I was
blown off and told to “go the f*** away”. I recently called the Bozeman Police Departmentnon-emergent line to file a noise complaint and was told that there is nothing they can do
about the noise from said gas powered generators, because that these motor homes/ campertrailers are considered their “ residences “.
There needs to be a way to give these families affordable housing in Bozeman and the
surrounding areas so that we can get rid of this eyesore and constant noise.
