Dear Commissioners— I am a County resident and a regular user and strong supporter of the Bzn Public Library, theSwim Center, and various parks. I would like to share a few thoughts. I previously lived in the City and had a business in the City for almost 40 years. Your various surveys and meetings identified the need for the three components of the newfacilities. I support all three aspects of the proposal. However, I am concerned that the price tag approaching $100,000,000 has a very poor chance of passage by voters. I understand theeconomies of putting the three components in one project, but if the bond fails, the public will get none of them. If one of the three components could be staged for later development, the price could perhapsbe reduced to a more palatable amount. In that case, the public could get two out of the three components instead of zero. I suggest a cost analysis of this idea by the architects and planners. Deciding which of thethree components to delay will be a tough choice. Sincerely, —Ken Kenneth M. Younger, MD 17 Hitching Post Rd. Bozeman, MT 59715 406 580 1245
