Good morning,
Thank you to our Veterans, those currently serving our country, and their families. We
are forever in your debt. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day.
Crews are not working today, Friday, May 26. They will return to continue installinghigh-tension median cable rail along Interstate 90 (I 90) in the Bozeman area on
Wednesday, May 31. Line post layout and installation will continue between Three Forks and Manhattan,
and a second crew will be installing anchor posts in the I 90 median at Bear Canyon
working west.
Each work site will require lane closures. The westbound and eastbound left lanes
closest to the median will be closed in both construction areas.
Next week, crews will be on-site Wednesday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on
Saturday, June 3. During this time, line post installation will be underway between
Manhattan and Belgrade, requiring only one project location with westbound andeastbound lane closures.
Drivers should anticipate minor travel delays due to lane closures and reducedspeeds. Please slow down and watch for workers and equipment. Montana Highway
Patrol (MHP) will be onsite monitoring traffic. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Email me directly
at sloane@bigskypublicrelations.com or call the project hotline at 406-207-4484,
Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information about the Median High-

Seat Belts Save Lives! Buckle Up, Montana.
For many Montanans, Memorial Day weekend kicks off the start of summer travel,
culminating with Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, these summer months can also
be some of the deadliest on Montana’s roads due to increased motor vehicle crashes.
As part of a nationwide “Click It or Ticket” mobilization running from May 15,2023, through June 4, 2023, law enforcement agencies and the
Montana Highway Patrol (MHP) will be out to educate motorists
and enforce Montana’s seat belt law statewide. Before you make plans to travel
this Memorial Day weekend, commit to always buckle up before you go, andinsist your friends and family do the same. Using your seat belt is your best
defense against serious injury or death in the event you’re in a crash. This is a Vision
Zero Message from the Montana Department of Transportation. Learn more about
the goal of Vision Zero and seat belt safety here:https://www.mdt.mt.gov/visionzero/people/seatbelts.aspx.
Best wishes,
Sloane Stinson
