Growth and change are necessary but a gas station in neighborhood makes no sense!
Bozeman may need more gas stations but what about on South 19th where there is tons ofgrowth, or further West on Baxter where there are no homes across the street. The city just
approved quiet time for construction from 8pm - 7am, the noise from a store being open 6am --11pm is not okay in a neighborhood, or to allow 24 hr pump service! The other locations
below do not even compare to this location!
Loaf N' Jug off 19th with residences to the south – this is on the corner of 19th & Main – theback of the gas station building faces 1 home.Casey's Corner off Ferguson Road near the Ridge with residences proposed to the west andoffice buildings and smaller service uses to the north – I don’t see any homes sharing thestreet and if they do build homes across the street those homes would be priced accordinglyand home buyers are aware up front!Cenex Zip Trip off E. Main Street before you get to the hospital and Town and Country whichhas low density residential to the south – this is on Main Street, near Highland Blvd. I don’t’see any homes there
Holiday gas station near at the intersection of 19th Street and Durston Road – maybe 1 or 2
homes have a view
If approved, about 20+ single family homes & 100ish condos/apartments would have to viewa 12-bay gas station from their homes. MANY others would be affected by the noise, pollution, and traffic. Having only 7 hours of possible quite time would jeopardize myfamily’s health, safety, and welfare.
Please, please, please, make the right decision and do not approve this application!!
Best Regards,
