As a white, straight, Christian, and conservative male person who graduated from MSU in 1988 and
have over 26 years of service to Story Distributing Company at the same 300 E Griffin Dr address the
city needs to do some thing about the liberal decay that you are inviting and encouraging to come
and stay with all the homeless encampments on public areas that jus keep getting worse and worse.
We are becoming the Portland of the Rocky mountain region. The problems are now on our business
doorstep. We have many of the ones wondering Griffin drive coming to the office wanting to use our
coffee, and insisting that they can use our private bathrooms in the office. Today it stepped up a
new level as I was trying to politely run off the two that were getting water from our faucet and left
it running and then were taking paper towels intended for customers. As I informed them that they
were trespassing and stealing and needed to leave I was informed that I needed to watch my back as
they would be back to F me up. I have called the police department and asked for increase patrols
and a higher level of visibility, and was basically told that they are doing what they can do but their
hands are tied due to city policies. Enough is enough. As you are building the new food bank and
homeless shelter right down the road it is only going to get worse as if you build it they will come.
When will something be done so that those of us trying to be productive and run a business going to
have the needed tools in the tool box to clean up this mess that is being created and delt with now
on an ever increasing basis?
Thank you,
