Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. This proposal does not meet Bozeman’s city requirements for safe access so close to the intersection of Baxter and Davis, as required by BMC 38.400.090. For this reason, Application # 22039 and the special permit required under BMC 38.230.120 should be denied. BMC 38.220.080 Traffic Generation – The traffic study does not consider future increased traffic that will be addedto Baxter Lane as a result of the present and increased building West of Ferguson, also on Davis North of Baxter. Northbound Davis Street is a narrow single lane street, and traffic entering and exiting a gas station so close to theintersection can create an unnecessary hazard. Listed below are the numerous gas stations located nearby, so the need for an additional one at the proposed location isquestionable. While Davis Street is an arterial street, it is also dissecting a growing residential neighborhood that needs “neighborhood”businesses, not another gas station. . 1 mile – Conoco, 1871 Baxter Lane 1.3 miles - Smith's Fuel Center, 1400 N 19th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59718 1.3 miles - COSTCO Gas Station, 2505 Catron St, Bozeman, MT 59718 1.7 miles - Exxon, 2525 N 19th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715 On Tue, Aug 2, 2022 at 9:25 AM Karla Slyngstad <kkssca@gmail.com> wrote:Hello Nakeisha,I'm going to take that as good news!Thank you for the website.Have a good day.Karla On Tue, Aug 2, 2022 at 9:15 AM Nakeisha Lyon <nlyon@bozeman.net> wrote: Hi Karla, I do not have any updates on this project. The applicant has not resubmitted their application. The only website is the Community Development Map Viewer where you can search the address and find the application, or use the application number. https://gisweb.bozeman.net/Html5Viewer/?viewer=planning Hope that helps.
