To Whom It May Concern:
I am a parent living in Bozeman, Montana. My child attends Bozeman Montessori on
Equestrian Lane. As you may already be aware, since Thursday, May 11th a yellow bus whichseems to be converted into a living space is parked on Vaquero Parkway directly parallel to
the school's playground.
This makes me extremely uncomfortable & concerned. This individual intentionally parkedtheir vehicle in this parking space which has a direct view of the children playing. The
windows are covered, I understand someone needing privacy, however, privacy should not bea privilege in this circumstance.
I understand the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals allows people to live in their parked vehicles on
public streets. However, I strongly believe there should be restrictions to their street parkingaccess within a certain distance of schools, playgrounds, etc.
As a resident of Bozeman for nearly seven years, I chose to raise my child here because it has
remained safe & a great community. Please reconsider the ability for people to live in theirvehicles on public streets &/or please implement limitations to ensure parents can continue to
feel safe taking their children to school. At the very least, please exercise actions to have thebus on Vaquero Parkway removed from its current parking spot with direct view of our
children.
