All,
We just want to send a formal concern regarding the speeds and driving on Ferguson Ave andthe surrounding area. First, the speed is just too fast for all the pedestrian traffic on that road.
Second, today for the third time, my son was crossing at Ferguson and a car passed all thestopped cars at the crosswalk. This has happened to him before and the other two times were
near misses because he wasn't expecting a car to pass all the cars that were stopped. By nearmisses I mean he was on the street crossing and came close to being hit by the car that was
illegally passing. I am just hoping for some action to be taken to ensure the safety of thepedestrians and all the students that travel these roads before and after school. I attached the
video of the incident to show you what has been happening at these crosswalks.
