I am writing to you to voice my concern about the development and zoning of the Gran Cielo
planned development near Meadow Creek.
This R-4 residential high-density development that is being proposed adjacent to MeadowCreek will devastate the community, neighboring areas and the vibe of South Bozeman. and
area around Meadow Creek, There is already so much building at Graf and 19th that willcreate traffic, light pollution and has already displaced our wildlife.
This planned development will have impacts on the neighborhood character, traffic, parking,
noise and the property values of Meadow Creek. Meadow Creek is built as a low densityneighborhood, consisting of predominantly single-family homes. Alternatives to R-4 zoning
could include R-3 zoning to match that of Meadow Creek, or transition zoning. Transitionzoning could put the emphasis of high-density housing north towards Graf, allowing single-
family housing to border our neighborhood on Kurk.
Please consider how this high density will affect not only the community of Meadow Creek, the surrounding neighborhoods and schools and the strains it will put on the infrastructure of
Bozeman. There are so many building projects happening in Bozeman that are closer to themain thoroughfares that warrant these planned communities. An existing neighborhood that
has a quiet vibe and single-family living does not and should not be changed to urban living.Keep the high-density housing closer to downtown, North 19th and areas that can support the
traffic and urban sprawl.
Thank you,. Meadow Creek home owner and resident of Bozeman
