Dear City Commission: I am writing to ask what discussions have been taking place, if any, regarding the growth in population of white-
tailed deer in southeast Bozeman. The numbers have increased markedly over the last few years and they are now a nuisance and
destructive. I'm sure I don't need to mention that they are also susceptible to concerning diseases, like SARS-CoV-2, H5N1 and chronic
wasting disease. I also request that the City Commission begin working on a plan with City sta and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, to
begin depopulating white-tailed deer in southeast Bozeman. Helena has worked with FW&P successfully to control deer populations
