Good morning,
This week, Coral Construction Company will begin installing anchor posts for the
high-tension median cable rail along Interstate 90 (I 90) in the Bozeman area.
A crew will be on-site Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Installation work will
begin at the west end of the project from Three Forks to Manhattan. Traffic control will be on-site, speed limits will be reduced, and lane closures
will begin. The westbound and eastbound left lanes will be closed closest to the
median.
Drivers should anticipate minor travel delays due to lane closures and reduced
speeds.
When traveling through the project sites, remember the three Ss of work zone safety:
speed, space, and stress. Slow down when approaching work zones and follow
posted speed limits. Leave adequate braking room between your vehicle and the oneahead of you. Keep your cool, pay attention, and plan for delays.
This safety improvement project will install more than 40 miles of high-tension cablerail along I 90 in the Bozeman area, from Three Forks east to Bear Canyon. Median
high-tension cable rail has been proven to reduce the severity of crashes and prevent
fatal crashes caused by vehicles crossing the median into oncoming traffic.

Keep Your Focus on the Task at Hand: Driving!
Distracted driving is dangerous and involves any activity that takes your attention
away from the task at hand and the road ahead. This includes using a mobile device,
eating, drinking, talking, or tending to passengers in your vehicle, adjusting your
vehicle’s entertainment or navigation system, or anything that disrupts your focus.Text messaging or other communication with an electronic device while driving is one
of the most common distracted driving behaviors. Many drivers don’t realize how
deadly these actions can be, but sending or reading a mobile message physically
takes your eyes off the road for at least 5 seconds. When driving at 55 mph, that's likedriving the length of an entire football field with your eyes closed. If your attention is
on anything other than driving and the road ahead, you put yourself, your passengers,
and other roadway users at risk. Help keep our roads safe for everyone by putting
distractions aside every time you operate a motor vehicle. Learn more about safe
driving behaviors and how you can help Montana reach the goal of Vision Zero at
