Good morning, The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Coral Construction Company will begin preparations for installing high-tension median cable rail along Interstate 90 (I 90) in the Bozeman area starting on Tuesday, April 25. A crew will be on-site from Tuesday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., doing pre- installation work in the highway median, starting at the west end of the project at Three Forks. Minimal traffic disruptions are anticipated. Travelers can expect traffic control on site, reduced speed limits, and shoulder closures during construction. When traveling through the project sites, remember the three Ss of work zone safety: speed, space, and stress. Slow down when approaching work zones and followposted speed limits. Leave adequate braking room between your vehicle and the one ahead of you. Keep your cool, pay attention, and plan for delays. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Email me directly at sloane@bigskypublicrelations.com or call the project hotline at 406-207-4484, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information about the Median High- Tension Cable Rail project, visit: www.mdt.mt.gov/pubinvolve/mtmcr/ National Work Zone Awareness Week April 17-21, 2023 https://www.nwzaw.org “You play a role in work zone safety.
