Dear Commissioners:
Please ban fireworks in the City of Bozeman.
Our family has been hoping for a ban on fireworks since 2004. We have had
neighbors shoot fireworks into our spruce tree and into the empty lot across the street
even though the tall grass and weeds were drying out. Our pets have been
terrorized, even though we keep them inside with a fan and music playing. I see no
reason for the city to allow private fireworks to threaten our safety and well-being.
Public fireworks shows are something we all can enjoy.
