Dear City Commission,
I beg you to please ban all fireworks in Bozeman. If not for the noise pollution, then please
consider the following.
Fireworks are EXTREMELY dangerous. This is a photo of Gus Fronek, the 5-year-old boywho was nearly killed by fireworks in Bozeman -- 30% of the skin on his body was burned
off. I reported on this in the Chronicle:https://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/news/health/bozeman-boy-in-utah-hospital-after-
being-burned-by-fireworks/article_70eb9736-f1cd-11e2-9081-0019bb2963f4.html

Fireworks also pollute the environment with cancer-causing compounds. I'm serious. There'sresearch on this. Fireworks impact air quality and health.
I'll reiterate something you already know. Fireworks frequently cause wildfires; as if we don'thave enough of those.
Lastly, my goodness, they're a waste of money and are exclusively manufactured in adictatorship with imperial intent.
Please ban fireworks in Bozeman.
Thanks, Troy Carter
