To the Bozeman City Commission
I am a resident of Bozeman and would like to voice my support of the ordinance to ban the sale and discharge of
fireworks in the Bozeman area.
Fireworks are not safe, particularly in the dry conditions we often have around the 4th of July. Fireworks are also
upsetting to many pets and veterans suffering from PTSD. There is no reason we need to allow citizens to set off
their own fireworks when there are professional shows they can enjoy.
I dread this town on the 4th of July because of fireworks going off for weeks before and after, causing stress to pets
and posing a fire risk. Please ban them!
