To Whom It May Concern
We are writing in opposition to the zoning for R4 high density housing submitted withapplication 22090 Gran Cielo II.We live at 2935 W Graf St.
We have environmental and infrastructural concerns. The proposal doesn’t provideParks, connecting trails or affordable housing.
There is presently inadequate parking availability. No alley parking, no parking on Graf StreetAnd when they do it blocks all bike lanes and requires cars to drive in the middle of the road. Many residents are forced to park on 29th street, a half block away and that street has nowBecome crowded with cars on either side. All of the above contradicts the city’s SAFE PLAN.
Their plan will be Very disruptive to the current wildlife that resides in the area includingWhite tail deer, Hungarian partridges, sandhill cranes, Great blue heron, hawks as they live inThe large stand of Cottonwoods on the property.
There is no affordable housing for residents in the development plan. It is being bought upBy wealthy out of staters, many of which are parents of MSU students so its already becomingA college dorm atmosphere which will surely scare away quality current residents and futureQuality residents.
The developer also failed to follow the required procedure for processing annexations.
Sincerely,Tom and Diane Hughes2935 W Graf StBozeman, Mt 59718
