I am a Bozeman resident who was delighted that the mayor recently signed the Equal Pay Proclamation. I
understand, however, that you are considering tonight a resolution that would increase Chief Judge
Herrington’s salary by an amount that would still be 10% less than the male Chief Judge’s salary. I urge
you to pull this resolution from the Agenda and modify it to afford Judge Harrington equal pay for equal
work, and, in so doing, honor the proclamation that you adopted last week.
